Katsutoshi Yuasa: Miraculous opens this week at the ISE Cultural Foundation. Curated by TAG Fine Arts' co-founder Diana Ewer, it is the artist's first solo exhibition in a New York institution. Yuasa's prizewinning work uniquely combines time-honoured woodcutting techniques with digital photographic aesthetics and elusive poetic narratives. We have produced a catalogue to accompany the exhibition.

Opening Reception: Friday November 9, 2012, 6 - 8pm
Sake tasting sponsored by Sake Discoveries Inc.

Meet the Artist: Saturday, November 10, 2012, 12 - 2pm
Katsutoshi Yuasa will be in conversation with the curator to explain his printmaking process. Light refreshments will be served.

"Printmaking was a medium for communication and information. Tradition is important but we should think also about future traditions. Contemporary printmaking should have the universality of photography. We need to talk about printmaking without technique."

Rob Ryan Solo Exhibition and Calendar Launch in NYC

We're thrilled to be organising a Rob Ryan solo exhibition to coincide with the launch of his first wall calendar published by Rizzoli. A selection of original paper cuts will be on show (including the 12 works that formed the basis for the calendar) along with a related series of 12 screen prints (editions of 250)

The works will be available from our website soon, or in the meantime you can contact us for more details. This is the first of many pop-up exhibitions we're planning in the USA so stay tuned for more international updates!
