London Original Print Fair | Royal Academy

24 - 27 April | RA Burlington House | London W1J 0BD | Stand 37

Next week we look forward to returning to the Royal Academy for the London Original Print Fair. We will be launching exclusive new works from artists including Ryan Callanan, Stanley Donwood and Robin Duttson.

The fair will be hosting a special 'Young Collectors' Evening' from 6 - 10 pm on Friday 25th April, with talks, tours and demonstrations by professionals taking place throughout.

As part of the event acclaimed paper-cut artist Justine Smith will be joining us on Stand 37 to launch her 'Value English' and 'Luxury English' embossed, signed and numbered open editions. Join us to see Justine turning money, including bank notes direct from the Royal Mint, into art, which will be available to purchase in exchange for donations to the charity St Margaret's Hospice.

Varnishing Day at the Royal Academy

The Royal Academy's Summer Exhibition is opening soon, and Katsutoshi Yuasa is the winner of this year's Towry Print Prize. We were thrilled to be there at yesterday's Varnishing Day to accept the award on his behalf. Rob Ryan's beautiful screenprints are also on display.

Congratulations to both artists, and thank you to the RA for organising an excellent event. Royal Academy | Katsutoshi Yuasa | Rob Ryan

Justine Smith Money Maps

We showed Justine Smith's wonderful print 'The British Isles' for the first time at the London Original Print Fair in the Royal Academy. Here's a selection of her other Money Maps. Justine uses banknotes from all over the world to create these works. Politically charged, but seductively beautiful, they suggest the way in which money touches every aspect of our lives.
